Oh yeah.... The Kennedy assassination is at the top of the list in the world.
What do you think happened?
JollyRoger · 70-79, M
I think Jack Kennedy was a man with a can opener and nobody wanted him to fix their dinner!
@JollyRoger: Hmm...

I was going to say the same thing, JFK.
@toddr13: What do you think tod?
toddr13 · 46-50, M
@MarsSword: I do not believe there was only one shooter involved, not given the alleged positioning of the shooter and type of rifle used. And, the physical means of the head shot, as seen on film, would indicate that the fatal shot to the head came from the front of the limousine, not the rear as was the scenario put forth by the Warren Commission.
@toddr13: I was reading one post about it that suggested that he was accidentally shot by a secret service member once the shooting started, and they covered it up. I don't know one way or another but I thought it was an interesting idea.
toddr13 · 46-50, M
@MarsSword: I have heard that too, but I do not think that would have been the case, since the fatal shot seemed to come from the front. People, and some of the police, ran in that direction after the shots in an attempt to pursue the shooter, so that's the direction that they believed the shots to have come from, not the depository building.
@toddr13: Lots of details that seem to conflict...
toddr13 · 46-50, M
@MarsSword: Very true, and likely the design of the plan. Create chaotic and conflicting details, combined with lax security, and you have a situation that unfolded in Dallas that day. The chaos and different details tend to discredit other options, and forensic analysis was not like it is today. Some have gone back and analyzed it in terms of modern forensics and the claims of the Warren Commission do not hold up. Rather than investigating, they were looking to prove a foregone conclusion, i.e., Oswald was a lone gunman.
@toddr13: Who had motive for such a plan?
toddr13 · 46-50, M
@MarsSword: That's where the debate comes from all angles with some pointing the finger at members of the government, Castro, the mob, etc. It's hard to know who had the ultimate motive to plan the assassination, but the hallmarks were more of a coordinated effort than a single gunman could orchestrate.
@toddr13: Who best benefitted from it?
toddr13 · 46-50, M
It's hard to say who benefited the most, though there were individuals and groups that benefited from his removal from office. However, if as some argue, it was a matter of vengeance, such as from Cuba, there would be no quantifiable benefit from an analysis, just satisfaction on the part of individuals who were wronged.
@toddr13: Hmmmm

Here's a URL that will bring all arguments together! I watched this in total disbelief. Use a bit of rational thinking if/when you watch it because it is THE CONSPIRACY THEORY TO TOP ALL CONSPIRACY THEORIES!

@JollyRoger: I will definately watch that and get back to you. With my critical thinking hat on... ;) But it might take a while to get the time.
