Oh a microburst storm...fascinating to watch but they are destructive. We had one that was confined to one square mile here a few years ago and I couldn't stop watching it, tried to explain that the rain was blowing 4 different directions at once. It didn't do a lot of damage mostly to tree leaves and flowers. Had another one almost a year later, much larger and it did significant damage and lasted longer. But I couldn't stop watching, rain was blowing sideways, knocked over fence panels, knocked leaves and flowers off, damaged the roof, and hailed really hard for awhile and then dumped a huge amount of rain, total time 45 minutes.
