I used to live in a redwood forest with hippies.

I lived at Haight and Masonic in San Francisco in the 1960s. I knew Jim Morrison, and I drank whiskey with Janis Joplin. We must come from the same generation!

I lived in the Haight back then, in 1967-68.I had a friend named Penny who lived in a commune across from Golden Gate Park. She sewed incredible costumes for all the local rock artists.
