Don't you sometimes regret defending someone?

My younger cousin who is 10 told my uncle "f*** you" my uncle got super mad grabbed his shirt and he was going to slap him I was there seeing everything and all of sudden my body moved automatically and I got between them so my uncle slapped me instead of my cousin my cheek was red! It was painful😢 my uncle was shocked he didn't know what to say and my cousin was laughing!! That idiot! I got slapped instead of him for him! I got mad so I slapped my cousin for laughing 😂😂😂 I wish I didn't get involve with all of this T.T
