What do you think of "internet tough guys"?

As in, men who threaten you with bodily harm over the internet in an attempt to intimidate you.

Do you think such tactics work? Why or why not?

i've dealt with... uh, losers since irc and it got worse with the ISP invasion.
most are like an advertisement... goes away sooner or later, especially if you ignore it.

OH and what is really fun, is you save all that information and then report them then report them to the FBI site (proper portal of course) and let the fun begin.
if it's real bad and considered legitimate threat the sites involved and their provider must give up the goods for prosecution.
