How do you seal/finish the cabinet?

@Kinevil: With sealer and finish (golden pecan). :-)

@Nostromo: I'm looking at buying a kitchen counter as my computer table, was trying to find the easiest way to seal it.

@Kinevil: Your best bet is polycrylic. It's a water-based finish which has the consistency and look/shine of floor wax. Very thick floor wax, but still. :-)

Everything else involves oil based products (finishes and stains) which require a laborious, step=by-step process to produce a satisfactory finish.
