Are you a person that cannot tolerate ignorance?

I have little patience with people who are hatefully or aggressively ignorant. That's the difference between simply not knowing vs refusing to be informed.

I can tolerate pretty much everyone. However, ignorance is irritating when people try to force their opinion on you as if it is fact.

I try to be very patient and tolerant, but ignorance to extreme extents, especially when it turns crude and violent, I cannot tolerate it. I do not, however, lose my temper.

I have patience as long as it's not malicious

I struggle with this. I try to be understanding and I frequently bite my tongue. When people are proud of being anti-intellectual and revel in their ignorant bliss, it bothers me.

It depends on how willful the ignorance is

Ignorance is simply a lack of knowing. Rudeness; deliberate disrespect, is not ignorance, it's just plain surly.

In a word, yes.

If its to the extreme like hurting someone and making someone ashamed of being who they are yes it does irritate me.

I can tolerate ignorance. It's stupidity I have a hard time with.

I cant tolerate dumbfucks. Asshats. Flakes. Fakes. Houseplant brains. Prudes. Religious fruitcakes or weirdos.
