I feel like there is never need for such language. It's a sporting event, therefore there will be screaming and yelling. As long as nothing personally offensive is said, then there should be no reason for conflict.

In my home town everyone just cheered and had a good time. Closer you get to a big city and it gets bad

Now that I think about it,a parent from the other team did say something to my sister.
P.s. sorry,I'm one of those people that tend to dwell on things for a while, especially if it bothers me

Yea,yea,I know but this was just plain catty, man,I thought people, especially grown people, would have a little more respect.

There's no excuse for any sort of name calling, only mindless people do it, but name calling doesn't physically hurt anyone and so only those without brains react physically back to it.
To answer your question though, no it was not an excuse sporting events are loud, name calling at any time unacceptable the best way to deal with it, is to ignore it.

Yea,I know,I personally didn't hear it so I didn't say anything and I really am sensitive when it comes to conflict and I was really getting upset. We play the same team again later in the season on our home field,I'm considering skipping that one.

@Creativemojo: I don't blame you, in the same situation I would consider skipping it too.

People get so raged over that silly thing but its nothing compared to soccer in some places
Fallenfromgrace · F
They were really, really, sore losers, even the kids on the field were talking trash,I could tell my niece was getting really upset.but she handled it like a pro,not giving into a response.

Man, why they always gotta call people "white trash?" Why not just "trash?" Must we be racist even with the calling of trash? Lmao!

SW-User
Racism always has been and always will be a thing... Remember, People seem to think they are above everything... Take note that people are idiots and will most likely never realize that "Race" isn't really a thing...

I thought yelling at sporting events was what one did. 🤔
What a ridiculous thing for someone to say to people.
