@Serenitree: when people are get so upset and emotional over words someone says it's pretty worrying. I was raised and told sticks and stone might break your bones but words will never hurt me. What happened to that? Now grown men and women crying over Trumo becoming president. The work has gone crazy

Are you saying yes you have, but they should just suck it up?
That saying about "sticks and stones" is totally false. Ask anyone who has been told their whole life that they are ugly or worthless if they were hurt by those words. I think emotional and verbal abuse is far harder to heal from, than physical abuse, although physical abuse is usually accompanied by verbal abuse as well.
Words are our most powerful weapon. They can also be our most powerful tool for accomplishing anything good.
