yeah obviously, I think most of people don't hate feminism, but certain individuals who identity themselves as feminists due to their personal opinions. feminism as a whole serves a purpose. It talks about the rights of women, it encourages women to be leaders, it points out the inequality, injustice exists in the society, it makes little girls to realize they are not grown to be housewives, but have a great potential to be someone great. it allows women to seek justice when they were harmed, it discourages victim blames, it allows women to be sexually, and economically independent. it makes the society to frown upon men when they discriminate/oppress/harass/disrespect women.I want to explain this point abstractmuse90 explained, yes sure some women abuse men, and take it too far, but we have to understand what made them to be like that. I recently read an article about how this girl castrated this guy who tried to rape her. while I don't agree with what she committed, when the law is unable to punish perpetrators it's hard to stop women from taking justice on their hands. there are a lot of bad men are out there, I know about that since I am a guy and hang out with them more often, even as a guy it's hard to deal with them, so how come women get along with them without being subjected to harassment? but I understand some men are genuinely harassed by women, but as I have experienced and heard it's really low.

You make a great point, I was actually thinking after I read my post, that there are women who abuse because they were abused themselves.

@abstractmuse90: exactly. while I don't agree with what they do, I understand what made them to be like that. I think they need psychological therapies not punishments. I know many people won't agree with me, but as I experienced most of women are loving, caring, and peaceful. some people say we both are equal, but actually the equality is in rights, not biologically or psychologically. so usually it needs tremendous amount of pain, trauma a woman to be abusive and bully. I know most of people wouldn't agree with me, and that's why I believe we still need feminism, because the society denies the injustice against women.

I would say I could stand behind feminism more, knowing that women need all the support they can get.

@abstractmuse90: that's great. I hope more and more women support feminism, instead of opposing it.

@abstractmuse90: this is a good example of what I have just said

She took John Wayne Bobbitt's penis and threw it into a field
Soon after she called police to tell them what she did and they were able to find and reattach his shaft in a nine-hour surgery
Lorena testified during the trial to the years of sexual and physical abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of her husband
In the end she was found not guilty of her crime by reason of insanity
John was acquitted of rape charges
