Feminism has been long used as an umbrella term to define or describe different beliefs with the overarching ideal of social justice. Feminism is a term that has been used and abused to justify a multitude of positions without a formal establishment. As such, it's a word that no longer has the connotation it used to. It means different things to different people, no matter how similar or different they are ideologically. There's really no longer a definitive understanding of what feminism is supposed to represent, and it's interpreted in as many different ways as one could imagine
