How is appreciating beauty shallow?

Idolizing beauty is shallow; simply appreciating it, is not. 😊

It isn't shallow at all. Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and walks of life but is only found in the eye of the beholder. We can appreciate something for the beauty it has but it's much more important to dig a bit deeper and also see someone (or something) for it's value and contribution.

It is not shallow unless you want to own everything you appreciate.
