Like a Chakra?

Chakras are the energy centers in your body. Affirmations are statements you make that bring you back to your alignment. There's different ones you can recite, it's just finding the ones that best for you.

Well, heres something from SADHGURU, in his book Inner Engineering:
(I take digital notes of all the books a i read - 2-3 books a month)
I will create my destiny by steadily heading toward the well-being and my ultimate nature, no matter what the content of life is around me. I will create a mind set in such a way that whatever happens around me, i will not get crushed by any external event; i'll ride them. My outer life may not be a hundred percent in my control but my inner life always will.
made a few edits to make it feel more "affirmation-ish".

@TheLoveAge: I made some edits to make it sound more correct. I like non-fiction books about... anything really. I have about... (counting...) 14 books stacked right by me waiting to be read. Sadhguru has a lot of youtube video. I just learned about OSHO as well.
I like spiritual, philosophical, and psychology books. Mainly non-fiction i feel like im wasting my time reading about aliens attacking earth or who murdered who. Im intrigued about the world around me and what it means.
I only have time for 2 books this month before i start my next load of classes...
I think I'm going to read these 2:
The art of non-conformity by Chris Guillebeau
and
Man's search for meaning by Viktor Frankl (already started this one).

@BuddhiNOW: Lol I'm the same way. Although a little fiction here and there keeps it colorful :)
The second book, Man's Search for Meaning is a great read. I listened to it on Audio, and I like the narration of it. Do you do audio books as well?

@TheLoveAge: Yes, unfortunately, i found a way to spend more money in the area as well. Honestly, it depends on how interested i am in the topic. If i'm not sure, ill get an audio version but if i want to be 100% absorbed in the material, i get the paper copy.
The subtle art of not giving a fuck WAS an audio download BUT it is now added the "Library".
Right now im listening to, "To the like switch" an Ex-FBI guide to influencing".
It is truly amazing how easy it is to "Trick" someone into doing things or thinking a certain way. That's another interest of mine: Persuasion, body language etc.
