Like with classic art, there are some pieces that touch me and others that leave me cold. Whoever said, "I may not be an expert but I know what I like" had a point. 😏

Well said, yes, I think there are some of each. But to be fair I find that if a piece of artwork shows real talent and skill and a good practice of the craft then I am much more likely to appreciate it than if it looks like it was done by a five year old.

@mar3sword: That's what has made art "subjective" for the most part. We don't necessarily look at it with the same eyes or same filter. That's why there are so many different types. The good news is, if you're not seeing what you like, you're free to look at something else. 👩🏾🎨

@bijouxbroussard: Again yes! Which is wonderful. I will never have a cubist painting in my house, but will probably have a realism landscape.
