Like with classic art, there are some pieces that touch me and others that leave me cold. Whoever said, "I may not be an expert but I know what I like" had a point. 😏

Well said, yes, I think there are some of each. But to be fair I find that if a piece of artwork shows real talent and skill and a good practice of the craft then I am much more likely to appreciate it than if it looks like it was done by a five year old.

@mar3sword: That's what has made art "subjective" for the most part. We don't necessarily look at it with the same eyes or same filter. That's [b]why[/b] there are so many different types. The good news is, if you're not seeing what you like, you're free to look at something else. 👩🏾‍🎨

@bijouxbroussard: Again yes! Which is wonderful. I will never have a cubist painting in my house, but will probably have a realism landscape.
