Has anyone else had 90% of the greetings they've sent through PM ignored?

@Gingerwithasoul: There are, but literally all I say is "hey, how are you? What brings you to similar worlds?" 9 times out 10 no response, and on their profile they'd have experiences about just wanting someone friendly to talk to, and philosophies on how nice they are. I don't want anyone to feel obliged, I just felt perhaps a few more people would want to chat :)

@pianoplayingsteve: They still may be nice but not a chatty type person or may not be here to make friends, necessarily. I mostly vent. I don't pretend to want anything from anyone accept common courtesy. I guess my point is, and it is not aimed at you personally, is that no one is obligated to answer if they do not wish to, that is their right as a user of this site.
I use to be more social on EP, but got sick of the head game players and I have plenty of people in my real life I can talk to and be friends with.
I mostly let off steam here or answer questions.
