We are whole as we are. What makes us think we're not is believing that we have lack.

And so we go on thinking we need to be something else or to adapt to 'live' our lives. All of which rests on beliefs. How you see your self. And if you believe you're broken beyond repair then you are. And for this you'll never know what it's like to be you, as a whole person. So you choose to live 'fractured' when you already are whole. What sense does this make?

That makes a aweful lot of sense but unfortunately when a person is in a"fractured" state of mind they maybe in deep enough not to be able to see whats directly in thier faces...as in your post.

You inspired a new Q :) But in your opinion, what would alter a fractured state of mind?
Thingschange4444 · 56-60, M
@TheLoveAge: Depends on the individuals problems. Depends what they have been through even down to age id say as the saying goes..you cant teach a old dog new tricks so sorting long term issues would be best tackled asap in life
