Venting is a constructive release of frustrations, where complaining usually is not constructive

Complaining assumes that you think it can be corrected. Venting assumes it can't 😊

Complaining people will go on and on and on..and involve anyone they find in their complaints.
Venting is something people do, get on with it and minimise the involvement because they do not want to remain in it.

Venting is when the event happens. Complaining seems like it's repeating an event, still ok though.

Venting is more like letting off steam, but complaining has more of a tantrum flavor... sorta like: "I want it to be like this, and I want it now!"

Complaining is repetitive and usually doesn't precede doing something about the problem/subject.
