@crossproduct: Crew? Oh heck no! I want to solo across the Atlantic first (I'm from New England) and then someday try the circumnavigation. Do you have a boat now? What kind?

@sarabee1995: I know how to sail, but I haven't in a long time and I'd love to get more practice on a larger boat with a good skipper. It's something I've dreamed about since I was a teenager.

Damn, I'd love that.

@crossproduct: I have a 33' coastal cruiser that my grandfather left me. I lived on her last summer while down in NYC working an internship. Obviously sailed there and back (I'm from New England) but also sailed all around Manhattan & Long Island & a little down the Jersey Shore.

@sarabee1995: I'd love to go to the Canary Islands or Cape Verde and back. Sailing is so Zen.

@crossproduct: Omg! You have no idea how many times I've mapped an Atlantic crossing to Cape Verde. I'd sail south along the east coast of North America first and then jump off from the Caribbean.
