There is also no reason to dismiss it. In the great scheme of things, what do people have to lose in wanting to believe in something bigger than themselves and this world?

In your opinion god does exist. That much is true. However I did not say god does not exist - I said there was no reason to believe the religious claims in the OP.

I will reiterate. The existence of a god in actual fact is not a matter of opinion. It does or does not. It is or isn't. Our beliefs are irrelevant.

You say it does exist and says it loves us... Okay... prove it. I am unconvinced.
