What I'm getting at is that you can jokingly post things that people will automatically attribute to you. Thus creating an idea in their head that may not be truly representative of you.

I'm not talking about lying. I'm talking about the fact that people attach attributes to you in reaction to whatever you post. These attributes may not remotely represent you in real life.
