Not in sweden :)
Who pays for it in sweden? Taxpayers?

I should probably move there

@NoOneYouKnow: Yeah, it's pretty sweet. 😌

@MartinTheFirst: except for that 56.4% income tax and the VAT on everything you buy
yeah super awesome
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Niburu: Lol it's actually around 30% income tax, then about 12% on everything we buy.

yeah canada is the same way. makes things expensive when you buy things.

@MartinTheFirst: you must be making under 434,00kr because after that they add another 20%, make over 616,000kr and they add 30%

Sweden does have a much lower corporate tax rate than the US
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Niburu: It's not really usual to make 36 grand in monthly wage bro
Niburu · 51-55, M
@MartinTheFirst: I'm talking kr not dollars
that 616,000 kr is about 88,000 usd
my combined yearly household income blows way past that
and UI suspect many middle income folks in Sweden do to

@Niburu: You're forgetting that this is a different country, you can't transfer it like that. If you earn 500 kr every month in USA, a drink will cost you 50 kr. If you earn 250 kr in sweden, a drink will cost you 25 kr.
