I don't know why but I asked him if I can come over his house he told me his family is visiting could he be lying to me ?

he could be, but is there some reason to think so? If his family is there, he might be reluctant to have you meet them yet, due to the age differential

@BlackAphrodite: Well, it's possible, but is there any reason to think it's a lie, other than the suddenness? And if he wants to get a motel room with you, then it's not some elaborate way of cooling off the relationship or anything

Well it sounds to me fairly genuine, that he doesnt want to introduce you to his family yet (always a scary thing), but equally he's really hot for you so he's willing to spend on a motel room rather than miss out on the chance of being with you. At least, on the information available, that sounds most likely.
