@uilesd: sometimes people will make fun of us but when we are strong in who we are that would not effect us but i understand some of us have self-worth issues and maybe thats why they ask...i just feel for people who are not free in their minds to be who they are without asking permission...its ok to be who you are, its who you are be proud of yourself and never mind the others but dont bring attention to yourself because some will judge you and its not fair to you or me or whoever...thats my point, be who you are dont ask to be who you are...

Same. I too dislike the term social norm and all that kind of stuff so I just ignore it and do what I want.

most people gain happiness from others. and it makes a lot of sense, i mean imagine yourself living in a world alone, you'd die out of depression. proof is that sims game which is basically about survival, u have health needs, mental needs, and social needs ( you need to feel loved) and you can only get that from others acceptance and approval. these days everyone talks about self-love more in a dignity and pride sense, as if its wrong to want to feel accepted. i'm not ashamed to say i like it when people like me.

i agree with you to a point, we all want to feel love and the fact is when you feel love you give love and we all want love...but when you are asking if its ok to wear girls panties and you are a guy..why do they ask if its ok, its who they are so wear them and go on with your day or do you want me to give you permission? that is my point..thank you for the response..

Some people need more approval than others.maybe comes from low self-esteem.worried they are not okay.Needing some sort of ok to feel the way they do.

yes i agree...but in time if they work on themselves they could change that perspective...all you need is a little love lol
