Should I go with my plan for college or not?

My plan for college is to go to a university all four years or community college for 2 years then a university. I want to live off campus in an apartment or house with other friends (up to 4 have agreed). I have a job and am saving up. I would like to see which route is best. Either university for four year and on campus. Or community college then university but overall off campus.

Lupepnte, some other advice for you if I may? As you make the decisions related to your post here, also consider what exactly you want to do for a living, and will be able to do for a living. Having a college degree in an obscure field where there are no jobs really won't do you much good. Having a degree in a field with lots of demand will ensure you the best chance of getting good job offers once you graduate.

Try to find something you enjoy doing. You most likely will have 45 or 50 years left to work once you graduate. Working that long doing something you don't enjoy will be pretty miserable.

And college can be a lot of hard work, studying and learning. So also consider the income potential of different fields you might be interested in. Might as well go into something that has good job prospects, that you enjoy doing, and that will pay well.
