If I win $100 Million dollars that means I don't have to work ever again

I've actually determined how much money I would need to never work again. It's 2.7 million. That equates to 50k a year. Quite reasonable. The most one would need for a comfortable lifestyle would be 70k. In my area. 100 million is way excessive. It's like 2 million a year.

@Lolco-: After. Ah. I didn't see you said "win". Yeah, if it was a win, I'd need twice that. But, even 1.3 mill would be 24k a year. Doable. 30k would be comfortable, but 24k a year would be doable, just to not work. But, yeah, ideally, 50k a year would be very comfortable, so it'd need to be like 5.5 million.
