Have you ever referred to police as "the fuzz"?

It's just slang, like cop, nothing overtly mean. I only vaguely remember the term, and I'm older than most of you! 😊

Yes when I was younger, then it was pigs, bit mean to actual pigs

I never liked the term "pigs". Cops are just people - some are assholes, but most of them are good 😊

@VeronicaPrincess: an older cop at the university said some of the students in the 70's would start making sniffing sounds and say "Is that bacon I smell" when he'd walk past them...he was laughing when he told me.

@VeronicaPrincess: Also in the UK we say bobbies and people that are volunteer police are called "Hobby bobbies"
