Have you ever referred to police as "the fuzz"?

It's just slang, like cop, nothing overtly mean. I only vaguely remember the term, and I'm older than most of you! 😊

Back in the 1960s, "Fuzz" was a less offensive insult than "Pig". Wikipedia sez it goes back to 1863, in London, when bobbies began wearing felt-covered helmets.
