Have you ever referred to police as "the fuzz"?
It's just slang, like cop, nothing overtly mean. I only vaguely remember the term, and I'm older than most of you! 😊

I remember a joke I heard years ago. Some girl wanted to join a biker gang and they were asking her some questions to see if she was suitable material. One asked her, "have you ever been caught by the fuzz?" And she replies, "no, but I've been swung round by the tits a couple of times".

Of course, this wouldn't work any more. These days, police aren't called "the fuzz" and females don't have any hair.
