Can't you get the girl back

@Justlilyg: nah, it's complicated, but essentially I wasn't good enough for her dad. She was very upper class.

@mrblueforyou: your not dating her dad, she needs to think and believe and see your good enough

@Justlilyg: I think she did, we were together for a very good year, but she had quite a sheltered life considering. There was so many things she didn't know or understand. I mean, I think she was a good girl, but she would just do anything her Dad told her. And that did seem to include not being with someone not upper class. I have a very basic flat, I had a crappie car at the time and wasn't hopeful of promotion at work at the time. But I didn't actually think these things would bother her! They didn't bother me lol. But it turns out it's not enough for her family.... And her family came first

@mrblueforyou: because no ambition means a struggling future.
Life's hard enough as it is why should she be used to more and settle for less unless she's that way inclined. It's destined for failure because she will always want more than your salary can allow harsh but true.
Think about a cat, start them on the expensive food, then give them the cheap, what do they do.
Even if you tell them you can't afford it...

@Justlilyg: I got promoted like 2 months later 😂😂
And yeah, that's exactly what it was but it felt like it wasn't her decision though. She was still sneaking around after we split up, it just wasn't the signs of somebody who wanted to let go...

@mrblueforyou: I don't want to say what I think about that more.
Because I fear I'll come across more of a bitch than I already do

@mrblueforyou: I often wonder why I can't use this foresight for my own life

@Justlilyg: it's easier to help others make the right decisions because basically, you don't get blinded by the pressure because it's not your own life. Some of life's best decisions are helped by others
