@hunkydory: For some people it isn't..... I think it's more of a feeling than a decision. You can't just decide to be happy, you have to actually feel it. People with depression can't just decide to be happy. They need help to actually feel anything positive at all.

@Crazycoral84: Some people just decide not to I am happy even tho I dont have a perfect life :/ neither has but you make the best of it,some people chose to not.

@Crazycoral84: You are right. I wasn't referring to those with clinical depression. So many people just feel sorry for themselves when life doesn't live up to their expectations.

@Boysome: Maybe they have a reason to, maybe they have a history that they can't just choose to ignore. Something that had such a big impact on their lives that it made them how they are today. Something that can only help when they talk to a professional or who need medication.

@SweetMae: and so many people have NO clue what happiness even is.Especially those brought up by unhappy people. No happy role models. I myself am old as dirt and only very recently have I begun to really understand love and happiness. They were just words before.
