When I'm sober, I'm that one person on the balcony. When I'm drunk, I'm the entertainment.

I'm the person on the balcony, holding a drink. People notice me but many are engrossed with the most extroverted person who is telling one of 'those' stories or sculpting the conversation around themselves.

You'd notice me and if you decided to come over, find yourself quickly entering a discussion that could leap from one interest and area to another in minutes; with a lot of humor thrown in for good measure. You'd wonder how this seemingly unassuming man, standing there with his drink was connected to this raucous group nearby; and how he could have so much to say to you when he'd barely said a word all night.

I always end up being part of the entertainment.

If i had the choice i would be the person dancing, singing or playing my djembe drum.
