i made this discovery about the sky around last year or the year before. at night time, the sky is a different colour in summer and winter

the sky is more of a darker midnight blue in winter, but in summer it looks more purple, brown even orange. im guessing this is to do with the closeness of the sun to the earth. since the sun is closer in summer, it makes sense that the sky is lighter at night. i dont think anyone would have noticed this before i mentioned it.
