I respect and admire the cultures associated with Buddhism because they contribute more to the world in a peaceful way than just about anyone else.
A good example is the country of Bhutan. They have not only a carbon neutral rating but a carbon negative rating. Their factories etc. emit far less pollution than their forests absorb. That is an undeniable contribution towards Mother Earth herself.
