Ivy League education versus regular 4 yr university?

Is an Ivy league school really worth the cost?

Specifically for graduate school?
From what I've seen, colleges are mass producing idiots at 40,000 a year per idiot.

Yes, but so are high schools.... and hollywood, and news media.

it's worth getting accepted....graduating is a plus ....in that it looks good on a c/v.....

Quality of education is up to the individual educating her/him self....

If you're going for that 400k/year job - the princeton grad has a better chance than the community college grad....

doesn't mean the state school kid isn't as capable & well educated as the princeton kid

No, not at all. The perception that it is worth the cost is nothing more than an illusion.

Education is an institution that has become a mass produced commodity which no longer contains value. It no longer contains value because everyone who possesses advanced education beyond high school is generally educated to the same degree. Therefore, there are no longer any marked differences between educated job applicants.
