Does this officially make me a parent or pawrent?

I keep hearing phantom whining...
I woke up twice last night because I imagined that Bruno was in his crate whining wanting me to come and get him, even though I know he's with my mum.

I did that once, heard this noise like an animal in pain coming from outside and we thought it was one of our cats in distress. Walked around outside but had trouble working out where it was coming from. Finally realised it was coming from above - one of the neighbours, several houses away had her window open and I think was being treated to rather a good time by her hubby 🤣🤣🤣
