Do you show emotion when watching TV?

Well......shouting as I watch my Boston Celtics but, crying no, laughing yes, utter astonishment at different programs. By example, right now I am watching an older british series entitled "Restoration Man" with George Clarke on Freevee.
I am absoulutely gob smacked at how very common people with no prior building experience, save and restore these literally ruinous historical buildings, turning them in to center pieces, often on shoe-string budgets.
It's pretty inspirational and amazing, and so, to answer the question long windedly, television does have an affect.

Laugh; move subtly to action on the screen; respond to sudden fright.

No crying is ever done. Repeat, no crying.

Depends on the content I am watching. Comedy does make you laugh, action-adventure does excite you, negative characters (I am fan of Villains) do aggravate you and I have cried only thrice so far. Recently, my eyes were wet for few seconds when movie 'Black Panther - Wakanda Forever' showed glimpses of 'Chadwick Baseman (MCU's First Black Panther)'. The end made me smile when I saw the one who'll carry forward the legacy.

Emotional romantic dramas and rom-coms are not my cup of tea.😇

Yes, I watch it to the end if I start a movie or web-series.😇

I'll sometimes feel emotion when watching TV, but I unusually don't show it. An exception would be if I find something extremely funny. Then I'll laugh out loud.

Depends what's on. Movie/show? No. News? Maybe make comment to other household member. Sports? Yes

Occasionally, if it’s a show I’m really getting into. I definitely will laugh if something is funny. Btw, that’s supposedly one of "our" stereotypes here—talking back to the movie or tv screen. I’m not sure why that is. 😅

Very rarely. Not for any dramas or scary movies. Some documentaries can definitely hit you.

Laugh ? - yes,if something is genuinely funny.Cry" - never. Shout at it? I f someone is being interviewed and is stating something that's wrong or I don't like - I might say "Ah,shut up!" or "Get off!

Sometimes, there's a graphically violent scene *cough* Ozark *cough* that will make my gf and I both cry out.

It's like watching mentals why would I need to think? If that stuff started making sense to me I'd turn that crap off before it turned me stupid.
