Because women are still so hated in most of the world, by men and sadly, by other women.

Which parts of the world are these?
@StackedBoxes: Any parts where equal rights for women are considered a threat. 😐

That is not hate , women are just not being given the same opportunities as men because of cultural and traditional and sometimes religious perceptions.Hate is a strong word.
@StackedBoxes: It is hatred, contempt, a view of women as lesser beings. Oppression is an even stronger word, but no less fact.

@bijouxbroussard: So you mean to say that the men hate their mothers? And what about the women who advocate for such ,do they like being 'hated'? As for the viewing of women as lesser human beings thats another story, because you find women who say they want to submit to a man.
@StackedBoxes: Some do. They consider them inferior to their fathers, in any case. And yes, plenty of women see themselves as inferior to men, and resent other women not "knowing their place". In some parts of the world women are still treated very badly.

@bijouxbroussard: I agree with you ,in some parts of the world women are treated badly, but what feminism is doing these days it's not fighting for the rights of those women, they are focused on petty things.
@StackedBoxes: Not all feminists are white or even Westerners, for that matter. But that's who gets the most press and the most criticism.
