Bad hair day maybe? Each of us have different expectations and yours and their are at different ends of the scale. No biggie, no harm, no foul.
If I sent a message I expect a reply when the reply comes and if we happen to be shooting replies back and forth for a few minutes, I'm cool if an unannounced pause happens... I just carry on and do whatever. I go annoy someone else or make a cup of coffee, or fold the laundry... wait, not that!
What I'm saying is don't sweat the small stuff and it's all small stuff. They had issues with how you responded, oh well, have a nice day.
