Caerphilly dog attack leaves pensioner, 83, in hospital with life threatening injuries

The dog was seized by officers and has been destroyed.
A pensioner is fighting for her life in hospital after being attacked by a dog in Caerphilly.
Three people have been arrested after officers were called to an address in Heol Fawr on onSaturday, December 3.
Police confirmed a 55-year-old man is also in hospital with minor injuries.
The dog, whose breed is not yet known, was seized by officers and has been destroyed. No other animals were involved in the attack.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.

Some time ago, you had mentioned about a pitbull that had killed a youngster. Why cant dog owners keep their dogs in control when they know they bite???

@msros Your quite correct the youngsters name was Jack Lis he was ten years old he was from Caerphilly, I remember the Church funeral he had the Church is a stone throw from me, a Mrs James from Caerphilly was the very first person in the UK to be killed by a Pit-Bull, a year or two later I was attacked by a Pit-Bull I killed it then there was Jack Lis and now another dangerous dog attack Caerphilly South Wales is getting a bad name for dangerous dogs.
