I saw the same post this morning that I saw in 1967!
The feed is messed up

I hear you.. the way the feed is set up sucks.
No matter how much I mess with the settings I still end up seeing the same posts all day, sometimes for days in a row.

Ask the admins to adjust your settings.

I blame the algorithm. When I pop into other categories I noticed there are a ton of people I never see on my main feed regularly posting., even though I’m subscribed to all those groups and have my feed supposedly customized show me the most recent posts 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's because of the stupid combination of algorithms theyve chosen. First of all, posts are not shown in order by default which makes the problem worse. Second, people seem to have interest points that depends on how much interaction they get, and how much youve interacted with them. If you haven't interacted with someone then they will basically not show up at all, that's why they introduced the new tag, so that their algorithm will make an exception for new users so that you can still see them. The moment that disappears you'll rarely see them again. Third, peoples posts are constantly being hidden because you're not allowed to make posts too quickly. Instead of not allowing you to post, they just don't show it to anyone. I think the rate at which you can post is about 1 post every hour or more, if you post more the new one or the old one will be hidden, probably chosen at random.

Basically, a lot of shit that this website can't afforded granted that it has such a tiny user base.
