Genetics are wild. My niece inherited my weird toenails

My pinky toes have an extra tiny toenail on the very end. Apparently it's a recessive trait and im the only one in my family living who has it. My sister informed me that my niece has the same toenail thing I do. I thought it was funny she inherited something from me
