So true. Even when you know they're not right

That seems to just make it harder.

That is exactly what I did. I also blamed myself too.

@spandexblue: oh me too. I just wasn't good enough, I shouldn't have done this, I shouldn't have said that, I should have taken care of my appearance more blah blah.

It's amazing how easy it is to believe the things you make up to justify everything.

@spandexblue: especially when the other person is so amazing in your eyes. It's almost like you think they're so great that it can't be their fault, it must be our own

WOW it's like you read my mind. That is exactly it. I think the worse they treat you the more you feel you don't deserve them.

@spandexblue: definitely true. They say treat them mean keep them keen and it's right, it makes you feel like you have to keep working harder at it.
They also have a bad habit of being the most awesome person ever when you first meet them, then slowly their true colours come through

The worst part of all is that if you ever do get away from them they have kind of ruined you. You are afraid to lat anyone else get close. At least that was what happened to me.

I know I drove off some really great women because of the things that one bad done to me. I could have been happy if I would have just let myself.

@spandexblue: I'm still that way now. And I attract the same kind of damaged people to me these days which makes it even harder :(

At least you can recognize the bad ones. One day though you will find a good one. I have faith.

Thank you. Just remember you deserve to be happy. Even if you are alone. I find it is much harder to find someone when I am actually trying to find someone.
