I was at a convenience store the other day and some kids came in with book bags and my cashier got really upset and started complaining to me about how they were there to steal food. I mentioned how people are really struggling these days and he she looked at me and went, ugh! When I was leaving they were kicking them out and one boy held the door for me. I don’t think people understand what it’s like to have nothing and need food in a country where prices are skyrocketing. That’s even if the kids were gon steal. She judged them for having their book bags on too. It’s crazy.
