Who has been a security guard before? My friend gave me the idea of being one

He has knee problems due to arthritis and he told me the pay isn't bad $15.75 and he gets to sit down a lot in his area. Im considering doing it because i need something less physically demanding bad because im tired of hurting and being crippled

Not a bad gig. Be sure to ask all the right questions in the interview. I'm sure there's more than one Security Agency, where you live, so apply to few, if not all, and be sure to go with the one that offers what you're looking for.

You should ask what types of buildings you'll be guarding.
Will you have to work outdoors.
Will a chair be provided if there is no walking or will you have to provide your own and is sitting allowed where there is no walking.
Will you be assigned to the same "post" every day/night or will you have a different "post" every day/night or every couple of days/nights.
Do all the "posts" allow you to sit.
Are there any "posts" that require you to carry a firearm.
