Im tired of being profiled in stores
Im the only person who gets descended upon by the self checkout person at stores. They always want to stop me to look at my reciept at walmart when others walk by no problem. I hate being watched like a criminal

what do you suppose is the thing about you that makes this happen?
when I was a kid i was shadowed all the time. some people told me that as and adult if I did not dress like a "thug" that would stop
it did not. it slacks off sometime, when I am Well dressed, but no sit and tie look has made me fully acceptable. it is still suspicious to be Black

@Dshhh i guess because i look like a bum or something. They assume funky hair and black scruffy clothes equals troublemaker thug

@SW-User yeah,, but assuming you are white, at least you can shave, get a haircut put on some good clothed and "Pass" as normal.
