I had sciatica, not that bad but it was getting to the point where I couldn't stand for five minutes without my leg hurting or walk very far without having to sit down to change the angle. I tried physical therapy which made it worse. What cleared it up was acupuncture. It took about half a dozen treatments and I actually felt worse after one of them, but by the end it was fine. Your insurance might even cover it.

@LeopoldBloom i don't have insurance sadly. Is it expensive?

@SW-User Where I live, around $125 per treatment, but some providers have a sliding scale. If there's an acupuncture school in your area, they might have a program where students work on you for free under a teacher's guidance.
