I feel like I've been silenced

Before university I really worked on myself, I did so in an attempt to be able to get away from the negative environment I was working in in healthcare

I started running, got back into drawing, started going to events alone and just tried to develop the inner confidence to keep going.
But I found that the moment I went to ubiii was shot down repeatedly.
The people I met there weren't interested in me or my art or anything that might include me.
They just seemed to want to tear me down, I was excluded from a lot.
I was asked questions basically demanding answers to my financial situation, when what I had to say wasn't to their liking I was further subjected to exclusion.

It made me start to feel intimidated. Even saying hello to someone was just a minefield.
What type of person would you meet today: a fake nice person= nice just because they're angling for something.
A blatant rude person= they were judging and looking down on you before you approached them and now wanted to let you know that you had no right approaching them.

The polite but uninterested person: they'll talk and be polite but they really have no interest in communicating with you beyond that moment.

The avoider: they see you but go out their way to avoid you.

We don't deserve this life.... We deserve to have a good experience with life... Don't let these demons overconsume you. Stop where you are. Try to see beyond and look for a brighter person to give your attention 🤗 I'm so sorry you are going through that...

@being I have met some really nice people on my dog walks in the mornings and 3 of us have decided to try and meet up this Weekend. What's nice is that they aren't coming across competitive in fact we had a bit of a 'care and share' which is definitely needed. I never knew what having a dog was like until now, I've only ever heard and seen the easy fun times. Although bruno isn't really much trouble when you do this alone much like with being a single parent you feel bloody stretched.

@Mellowgirl thank you for getting back that's really good news and thank you for sharing 🤗
I can't have a dog right now but might consider in the future, all of my friends who have a doggy are all very grateful

@being I personally am trying to fit my life around my dog. And I'm no longer prepared to compromise. Given things mentioned above. I put off a lot of my wants to please others and it's not been beneficial to me at all
