She broke protocol by holding Harry’s hand a lot. The royals don’t do that in public on formal occasions. It shows a marked lack of respect. @Bartleby

The worst was what I saw hours after responding to this comment; they were holding hands walking in the procession in the church during the funeral. No one else held hands. It may seem trite and insignificant to those who don’t understand the tradition of royal protocol, but to those who do, it shows willful disrespect, because Harry knows these protocols and chooses to ignore them. It’s the difference between having class and respect and being crass. @Bartleby

You are mixing apples with oranges. Protocols are not in the same league as crimes. That’s like mixing up manners with murder. Your analogy doesn’t work here. @Bartleby

@Carissimi You’re right. Crimes against minors are much, much worse. His mere presence is a violation of protocol.

I also believe in innocent until proven guilty. He may be guilty, but until he’s arrested and tried in a court of law and, I hear the evidence, I’ll withhold judgment. @Bartleby
