Religious fanatics are self centered and see the world as revolving around them:

The process of perceptually limiting the amount of creation in order to maintain a more centralist worldview is aptly named constriction. Christians are bad for this. Muslims will even go as far as to banish the idea of infinity. Anything to make self seem more important in God's eyes!

Not gonna say I agree, but my stepdads mom was once found crying because her (biological) grandkids (ages 6 and less) had played "God, Jesus and Gods girlfriend".
She was crying bc they didn't understand "God" didn't have those urges 🤦‍♀️

Really, that's interesting as I see them as delusional and unreasonable, unrealistic and unable to cope with opposing ideas
