I need to stop watching cooking shows my kitchen is smoky at the moment

I made burgers and I thought it would be a good idea to toast the buns on the stove burner. I have an old coil stove. The bun stuck to the coil and burned some. I'll have to wait until it cools down to remove the rest of the bread.
